Spectators Guidelines/Restrictions for Fort Zumwalt North

Home Events Winter 2020-2021

Due to COVID-19, the Fort Zumwalt School District has released updated guidelines for fans attending Zumwalt North events that help promote the safety of all students, staff, parents, and fans.  For the 2020-2021 school year, all Fort Zumwalt Northt venues will have reduced seating capacity to help ensure social distancing.  Zumwalt North gymnasiums will be marked for socially distanced seating and all fans in attendance will be asked to socially distance from non-family members.

In addition to social distancing, face coverings will be required at all Fort Zumwalt North events.  These guidelines will be in place at all Fort Zumwalt North events and will be similar to what other school districts will be requiring when we travel to their venues.

EVENT ADMITTANCE & SEATING @ FORT ZUMWALT NORTH

• Event capacity will be limited to 25%

• For home events @ FZN we will be able to allow up to 4 spectators per participant.

• Spectators will be asked to sit away from non-family members.

• Face coverings and social distancing will be required at all events.

• At the conclusion of contests, we must clear out the gymnasiums of all spectators to allow the next group of spectators to enter.  We ask that all those spectators leave the building so that we can maintain or 25% capacity and be able to properly social distance.
   

• Basketball, Cheer, Dance, and Wrestling participants will be issued vouchers which will allow their families to purchase tickets.

Admission - $5 adults/ $2 students

Punch passes will be available for purchase

Punch passes will be $15.00 for ten punches. The pass will be punched for each person in attendance at the game.

• Events in the small gym will be limited to 2 family members per player due to limited seating.

• All attendees (participants & spectators) will be required to complete the following screening before arriving at each event:

• Do you currently have any of the following symptoms, if so, please do not attend:
  • Fever or feeling feverish
  • Chills
  • A new cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • A new sore throat
  • New muscle aches
  • New headache
  • New loss of smell or taste

• GAC Events – limited to 2 spectators only (must have your GAC voucher to purchase entry)

• GAC Events – no cheer or dance allowed at away contests

The Activities Department and our coaches will communicate any special guidelines that may be in place when we travel to schools outside the GAC.  Below you will find the guidelines in place by venue:

Large Gym

• Face masks required
• Bleachers marked for social distancing
• No seating for fans behind scorer’s table
• No seating for fans behind team benches
• Social Distancing required when standing 

Small Gym

• Face masks required
• Bleachers marked for social distancing
• Chairs placed along the perimeter of the gym on X’s to allow for more seating
• Limit 2 family members per player
